Method
Blend the Ninja Creami base
- Blend whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt until completely smooth and the cream cheese is fully incorporated. Stop and scrape as needed so there are no visible cream-cheese streaks.
Freeze
- Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, leaving 1 inch of headspace. Make sure the top surface looks level before freezing.
- Freeze for 24 hours. The pint should be fully solid throughout with no slushy center.
Process the ice cream
- Process on the Ice Cream setting. If the pint is too firm, add 1 tablespoon milk and re-spin until the surface is smooth and creamy.
Add the cookie pieces
- Use the Mix-In function to fold in crushed chocolate sandwich cookies. You should see cookie pieces distributed throughout, not piled in one area.
Serve
- Serve immediately or return the pint to the freezer. For best texture, eat right after processing.
Notes
Pro tip: soften the cream cheese until very pliable so the base blends truly smooth with no lumps. Store leftovers covered in the freezer for up to 2 weeks; for best scoopability, let the pint sit at room temperature for 2–5 minutes. Freezing is required—do not freeze in an unsealed container. Dietary swap: use a lactose-free milk and lactose-free cream cheese to make this lactose-reduced while keeping the same process.
